It’s not so much about techniques and tools and irrigation and all the things you think about when you garden; rather, it’s picking the right plants and varieties for the climate.
Once you have a list of sure-fire crops in hand, you can hardly go wrong. As I learned in my master gardening courses: “Right Plant, Right Place!”

Stoked on the continued success on this great resource book. I have recommended it to a lot of people that show interest in gardening. I hope the sales are are translating to good income for the growing family.
I’m not surprised by the uptick in sales as our Florida fall gardening season is kicking off now. I recently reread the book and just started a bunch of tomato varieties that your friend recommended in appendix IV such as Better Boy, Early Girl, Roma and Amish Paste. I found the seeds on Etsy and started them a couple weeks ago in the shade. I will plant again in late January as I usually do. I have had great luck with Better Boy and of course Glades. I also just planted some Kale and Seminole pumpkins. I appreciate all the inspiration.

I am going to do a revised and expanded version soon with more data on varieties and some more soil research I did with Steve Solomon. Just a matter of time.
