You can see how patchy it is, but we do still have some radishes coming in. The soil is terrible!
Later in the video, you’ll see Rachel and I work on the NOGRASS grocery row garden beds. Later this week I may be able to borrow a big tractor-operated bed-maker so I am holding out on digging any more new beds before then. The long-term soil work has to start soon, as this ground is really terrible and I do not have an infinite source of cow manure. Yet. One day, we may have a cow, then it’s ON!
For now, I am working on soil-building via plants. Cannas are getting installed as a chop-and-drop right now.
Today it’s very cold out (by my tropical standards) but I hope to film a video where we taste-test some of the crops growing in the 12 amendment test beds.
