Yesterday afternoon we took a long hike and gathered some nitrogen-fixing tree seeds for a new agroforestry project I am starting at our church.

Featured species include Erythrina poepiggiana, Gliricidia sepium, Leucaena leucocephela and Bambusa vulgaris.

Once you start seeing the leaf, pod and flower patterns of Fabaceae, you will see nitrogen-fixing tree species everywhere.
