Bet you thought I forgot, Mrs. Survival Gardener.
Hehhehheh.
When a marriage works the way it should, it’s a lot of fun. We’ve been gardening, homesteading, having kids and enjoying each other’s company for 11 years now… and it just keeps getting better.
Rachel pushed me to start this website over two years ago. She also grew the first successful cauliflowers we’ve ever grown. She’s also hoed a lot of rows, planted transplants with a baby on her back, made many runs to the store for chicken feed… and looked adorable strolling through the gardens in a straw hat and a flowery outfit.
As long as I don’t ask her “Babe… where should I plant this tree?”, we live in tranquil harmony.
Happy anniversary, darling. See you in the garden later.

Congrats. Happy Anniversary to you both.
lol. Happy Anniversary!
Very nice. Congratulations. Here's wishing you many more years of enjoying each other's company!
Congrats! Keep on showing 'em all how it's done.
A good marriage that has both partners appreciating each other is wonderful.. Congratulations on loving your wife well.
Blessings to you both.
Happy Anniversary to you both!! And may the Lord bless you with many more. Wow. And I thought you two looked pretty young now. You look like kids in that cute photo up there.
Thank you, all. I thought it was a good excuse to post that strange photo.
She surprised the kids and I this morning with a trip out to the Mosswood Farm Store in Micanopy. We got some coffee and fudge, plus three loaves of Joe's amazing sourdough bread. They're building a food forest out back… totally cool joint. And a nice surprise.
Congrats! Happy Anniversary!
These guys are really wonderful to work with, the food at Chicago Wedding Venues is delicious, the drinks are good, the view is phenomenal, and it's overall just a great group to work with.
