So far, I have Grow or Die in audio:
As well as Compost Everything:Push the Zone:
Totally Crazy Easy Florida Gardening:
and even Create Your Own Florida Food Forest:
I should probably voice the Survival Gardener’s Guide to Growing Tobacco and the Survival Gardener’s Guide to Growing Caffeine as well.
I’ll probably voice this book first, though:
I like Audible for audiobooks – they’ve been very good to me. The distribution is great so I don’t bother selling my books anywhere else, with the exception of Push the Zone where I signed a non-exclusive contract with Audible so I could see if I’d have luck selling it on Gumroad as a download. I now know I’d be better off letting Audible do all the distribution. It may be an almost monopoly, but it works for authors.

It’s still raining outside right now. Flooding is destroying some neighborhoods only a few miles from here, but we’re on high ground. The bay outside my window is filled with muddy red water now and the rain seems like it’s going to keep coming.
This is the most we’ve had in probably a year, all at once. I was planning to plant some corn and I want to build a little instrument from an old pot and some scrap wood, but it looks like that may have to wait.
Also, the bid we made on a property with a house, a big commercial building (which would be perfect for multiple projects I have planned) and a half-acre of land was rejected as being too low. If I had another $30,000 or so, I’d raise my bid and have the family in a new house and be planting gardens within 90 days. As it is, I can’t stretch that far comfortably.
I need to write more and make some cash. Maybe I’ll get a hit over the next year.
