Wow… and I thought my horizontal hugelkultur beds were doing well. Can't wait to try this approach.
David, have you experimented with vertical vs horizontal hugelkultur? What'd you find?!
Nothing definite yet. I've done both methods but not scientifically at this point.
We are clearing 6 acres on our organic farm right now in preparation for building 50- 4’x60′ Hugel Swales this Fall. Will keep ya posted on the results…
