One of my followers on Gab saw the video I posted yesterday on composting a rat and sent me the following video:
I think I’m in love with that woman. She’s more awesome than Julia Child, and thinner.
I never thought about cooking food by putting in straw like that. I wonder if it would work with fish. I’d be scared to death to eat one of those rats due to the potential for worms and disease.
I’ll take my rat well-done, thank you very much.
Actually, no. I won’t eat a rat at all.
That’s too far.
Though I have talked with a guy who does:
Shawn’s channel is great.
Lots of material on primitive skills – which, as you watch, you’ll realize aren’t primitive at all and take a lot of knowledge to accomplish. Flint knapping, bow-making, deadfall traps… this is skilled work.
Anyhow, hope I didn’t make anyone lose their appetite for Christmas dinner. Keep an eye on the mincemeat pie, mmkay?

In France, we have a recipe with pine needles and mussels called éclade.

Not as exotic as rats, but funny nonetheless.
