As we’ve been too busy to record video lately, I did a stream last night talking about swamp water and composting:
That illustration on the video thumbnail, incidentally, is by Tom Sensible. He cracks me up.
In the stream I discuss the potential hazards of swamp water, what really destroyed the Georgia Guidestones, the problem of common sense, gardening on slopes and more.
I’ll try to stream more often over the coming weeks as I don’t think I’ll be recording any proper videos due to serious time restraints.
Also – thank you for the prayers and encouragement. We hope to be moving to a new homestead very soon, and this time of strange uncertainty should end.

My swamp water (weed tea, actually, since I only used weeds) kills tomatoes and squash, even diluted, but cantaloupe loves it. I suspect the prickly lettuce. I’m going to dump it out, and make new without prickly lettuce.
We went all out with our swamp water experiment and shared it online. August 1st we start using it. With 4 different garden areas at about 2600 square feet plus apple, cheery, pear, asian pear, and whatever fruiting bush that claims it will live in our area and catches my wife’s eye. Gooseberries being the latest. We really have a use for free liquid fertilizer!
