Thus far in 2024, we have harvested 1,931lbs of produce.

Harvesting 1,029lbs of pumpkins really helped.

Last year our total yields were 2,573lbs.

Looks like we’ll beat that this year. We have three long rows of ube yams, plus a couple of rows of other yams, plus plenty of unharvested sweet potatoes and more pumpkins coming in. And the sugarcane! Lots of sugarcane.

It would be a blast to make our own cane syrup this year. I’m hoping we can make that happen.

We also have two pigs to put in the freezer, and three more we hope to sell.

Once the food forest kicks in, we should get bushels of fruit that will boost these yields. We’re just getting started, really. It’s only been two years since we bought our property.
