Yesterday I promised I’d share pictures of Wendy’s beautiful St. Petersburg garden.
When she wrote to ask about sources for free, safe, mulch, she also sent me a bunch of garden pictures and then graciously agreed to let me share them with you all.

Lots of mulch gives you nice soil. Keeping the ground covered, particularly in Florida, is very important for preserving fertility.

Ooh, I’d love to see forums! I have exactly one year’s experience under my belt and though I’ve gotten lucky (WTF, wild sorrel?), I’d love to talk to people who 1) know what they’re doing and 2) aren’t trying to talk me into growing flowers when I want veggies.
