Wow that’s very interesting, here in Perth Western Australia it’s so hot and the humidity is horrible. Possibly one of the worst for many years.
The garden is loving it though and my banana trees are producing so much fruit.
Any tips for propagating coffee ? My one little bush could do with some friends.

Finally uncovered plants today, and just about everything seems ok…Citrus, prickly pear, avocado. Did not cover the bottlebrush or olive trees. Well, we did cover one weeping bottlebrush and that did ok…but the other ones look pretty unhappy, which is a bummer because our honey bees adore the blooms. The olive trees look great, though! Time will tell. Our Arctic King lettuce, which I also did not cover, was largely un-phased by the snow and cold and we got down to 15 degrees.

I had my first flowers on my Moringa. The frost killed the flowers and the leaves. I am expecting to have to cut them back all the way to the ground. We had no snow but it did get cold. There was snow both north and south of us. I enjoy your videos.
It’s great that most of your plants handled the weather well, especially the citrus and avocado. The bottlebrush struggling is unfortunate—hopefully, they recover soon for the sake of both the garden and the bees. It’s impressive how resilient some plants can be, like your Arctic King lettuce! Gardening always comes with surprises.
