That represents a few minutes of casual picking over at our garden lot. There’s more in the basket you can’t see in the picture, including some greens my wife is cooking up for breakfast right now.

We’re not actively maintaining the lot right now as we’re getting ready to move to our own land, yet it’s still producing. Yams and ginger are coming, along with chaya, edible air potatoes and more okra. I may go over and knock down the weeds again with the string trimmer later this week but I’m mostly just letting things grow. There’s enough rain to keep things going and the plants are bigger than the weeds.

The beans on the left, incidentally, are hyacinth beans.
