David the Good and I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite places, Oleta River State Park. Oleta River is in North Miami. It’s a beautiful park that is full of the perfect beach snack, cocoplums! The cocoplum is a small fruit you are able to pick right off the tree.
I had never tried a cocoplum before this video. What better way than on camera, for thousands of people to watch- ha! In all seriousness, it was a light and delicious fruit with a rather large pit in the middle. I always learn something new hanging out with David the Good. Next time you’re on the beach keep a look out and try a cocoplum!
