…on my lasagna garden bed, that is.
I like being part of the interchange of ideas between gardeners and permaculture folk.
“Is this the best way… I think you could try… what if you…?”
It was good seeing the alternatives Craig presented. I liked the gal with the weed block. She gets extra points for barefoot forking.

Thanks David. Morag must have pretty good soil to be able to barefoot fork the grass, I’ve tried it here on our lawn and hobbled off to find my boots!
I really liked the bamboo use, it gave me an idea I might write up on my blog, and it’s up there with woven garden beds aesthetically for me now. Too often people use boring dimensional timber rather than what they have. I enjoyed learning some new techniques for preserving wood writing that one.
I could barefoot fork back in Florida sand… definitely NOT here.
I like the way that bed looked too. I’m going to build another one. I’ve got all the bamboo I can use, provided I want to drag it from the river.
Can you post a link to your blog? I love getting different perspectives.
Nevermind, I’m a little slow. I found the link, right in front of my face, like everything else I can’t find.
