No, I haven’t really returned to Evilbook, but I did sign up for a temporary account in order to play gardening “guru” for a yuuuuge homesteading group this evening.
I’ll be off again after the event; however, if you’re on Evilbook and want to attend, say hi and ask questions, here’s the press release from the group with the details you need to join the conversation:
Hey Homesteaders, this Saturday March 5th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM CST (6:30 – 8:30 EST), David the Good, author and founder of the TheSurvivalGardener.com, will be hosting an “Ask a Guru” session on the Homesteading/Survivalism Page.
SHARE this with your friends so they can participate too!
To participate, follow these instructions:
1. On March 5th, head over to Facebook.com/Homesteading any time from 5:30 to 7:30 CST.
2. Find the post at the top of the page where we will be hosting the session.
3. Ask any homesteading, survival, or gardening question you may have.
4. David will then reply to your comment and take it from there.
David’s bio and more instructions here:Â http://thehomestead.guru/ask-a-guru-david-the-good-of-thesurvivalgardener-com/
Brought to you by: Homesteading / Survivalism, The Homestead Guru, and the 2016 Homegrown Food Summit starting March 7th.
The promotional photo they posted cracked me up.
In case you’re worried that I’ve abandoned my faith and pulled a Beatles, no, that isn’t a cartoon of me doing Eastern meditation in the upper right corner, that’s just their logo.
Finally, don’t forget to SIGN UP for the 2016 Home Grown Food Summit so you can see my Compost Everything movie! It’s a lot of fun, plus you get to see 30+ presentations for free during the week they air.
I’ll see those of you still using Evilbook (SHAME!) online this evening!

NOOOO!! NOT THAT F***PLACE!!
Ok, I get it – wider audience and all that. I’m sorry I won’t be able to be there, I think I’m one of the last worldly holdouts as far as setting up an account at that place.
But…will there be a copy of said event HERE after the fact? I know I won’t be able to participate in the live program but later here is better than missing out entirely.
Don’t ever set up an account there if you can help it. It’s a massive data-gathering scheme and they’re actively opposing free speech right now on behalf of governments.
It’s a live question and answer via typed questions and responses, not a video-style event. There’s not really a way to share it here that I can figure.
That said, my publisher and I were talking yesterday about setting up a live online gardening course together. I think I’ll be doing that before too long.
You are not alone Kathy!
Karl
