I was thinking of spending a couple of days and putting together a quick film on simple grafting using a few different techniques, then offering it for sale on a “donation” basis.
It’s grafting season. I have trees, I have scion wood and I have a knife.
Why not?
I don’t do all the grafts (such as bud grafting or bark grafts), but I have become quite proficient with a few other methods and have the fruit to prove it.
Since this writing thing is my main gig, I just want to see if there’s any interest out there before I do something like that.
My time is tight since I spend a lot of time working on posts and articles.
If you all want me to do a grafting demonstration and think that would be worth donating a couple of bucks towards, let me know in the comments.

Since you have fairly broad set of multimedia now (books, videos, audio, etc.), why not put together a small crowd funding campaign and create packages of your stuff at various price points? That way I can not only say I’m interested, I can actually pre-order and pick up some of your books and other stuff. Not sure how time consuming all that is, but I’m sure you can figure it out.

A video would be nice, but I can’t see it being very profitable. YouTube has some very good grafting videos available for free…in fact, that’s how I learned to graft myself.

I would be interested. My grandfather grafted all sorts of things all over the place but I never got around to learning that from him before he passed, and I really enjoy your way of explaining all things dirt and tree related, so again, yes I am interested!

I want to plant some trees and grapevines, and will want to graft branches onto them.
