I recently was invited back on the Prepper Recon podcast and we had a great time discussing my latest book Grow or Die: The Good Guide to Survival Gardening. You’ll hear some of what I cover in the book and get some great gardening ideas for your homestead.
It’s more prepper-minded than a lot of my plant geekery here, so don’t be surprised if you develop a sudden urge to buy a gun, some gold and a med kit.

I was gonna ask when it was coming out paperback, but i see you covered that :)
before the freeze hit i chopped a few of the cassava down and set aside for spring. dug a few and fried them with garlic, they were pretty good actually.( i boiled them before i fried) covered up my papayas i got from you and wrapped them with lights, they’re ok :)
the cassava i didnt cut is brown now, are the stalks still ok to cut and replant next year or did the freeze ruin them?
