Since pictures speak louder than words, I filmed a bunch of my favorite cold-beating themes and jammed into a video less than 10 minutes long.
Enjoy.
UPDATE: I should mention – that’s the same greenhouse I review here.

Great video. I should put a barrel of water under the tarp with my tomatoes instead of the old style christmas lights that I have mostly tried to get through cold snaps here in central FL. If your camera has an external mic input, you might consider getting a wireless mic so we can here you at a distance. You would need to get one where the receiver has a mic level output so you don't overdrive your camera. (I do audio for TV for a living.)
I've had better luck with water barrels than I did with Christmas lights.
TV audio for a living! That's great. Believe it or not, my other self is a professional radio producer and audio editor. The problem is, when I get on a program like Final Cut (rather than my alma mater ProTools), I'm totally lost on the audio side of things. Can't get it to automate volumes, etc. like I'd like.
This should all be moot soon, though, because my cousin does videography and I've about convinced him to join me in producing a new series of video segments.
I've been cranking out golf tv at Golf Channel for the past 19 years. I pretty much do the live shows and only occasionally use Pro Tools. Good luck in your new video venture. I would think there might be a niche for this stuff. I don't know anything about the survivalist side. Do you think there are enough folks in the survivalist community to float this boat?
Thank you. I suppose I'd do better if I wrote comedy skits or dedicated my time to producing Epic Rap Battles… but I'm following what I'm interested in. If people come along, I'm happy. If they don't, I'm still happy. There's a contentment in doing what I love. I love my plants and I enjoy sharing what I've learned. Guess there's not really a downside.
Sounds great. I'll be reading, lurking and making the occasional comment.
So, in light-weight of that, I've set to list the crucial steps that ought to be taken, yet as some useful tips, that ought to facilitate get you on the trail to with success making video and promoting yourself and your work, for more information click here Florida Videographer.
Where did you buy your greenhouse from?
FYI I bought an 8×12 Palram greenhouse. Paid about $791 for it with several discounts off the regular price of $1399, At Hayneedle. It is really GREAT. I also added 2 louvered panels at lower sides to increase ventilation. Really great greenhouse, and am able to start my garden much earlier. I recommend this brand, costs more, but it is worth it!
Very cool – thank you.
