I’ve been very busy offline, so my online presence has been sketchier than usual. I spent the last week getting ready for an art show. Instead of exhibiting paintings, I made wood furniture, cutting boards, tool boxes and other cool things, mostly from reclaimed wood.
Pallet tool boxes:

I also made these teak piggie cutting boards:

They’re from an old family pattern. The show went well and generated a lot of interest, but being a woodworker definitely isn’t as lucrative as being A World Famous Gardening Writer. I need to do more of the latter.
In other news, I just paid the legal fees for the new property we’re buying. Lord willing, we’ll close in a week or so.

I ordered your book “Grow or die” based solely on the title. I am hoping for a Venezuela style collapse here in the USA. If everything works out like I am planning, everyone in my past who ever did me wrong will appear outside my chain link fence begging for food.
Thank you, Pedro. Your wish will most likely be fulfilled.
