I’ve been posting 5 videos a week on my YouTube channel lately. Here are a few of the most recent.
First, here’s this morning’s new video:
And my look at times to burn and times to avoid burning:
And some GIANT bamboo and why I think it’s one of the best plants you can grow:
I’m going to start livestreaming tonight, Lord willing and provided I can get my encoding software working, at 7PMEST.
Join me then and ask your gardening questions.
UPDATE: I did an early test stream which had some serious audio issues. Will try again tomorrow.

So, would you be able to build your cracker house from bamboo? If built well it’s supposed to stand up better to earthquakes and monsoon winds.
I was so excited! I finally had some wood ashes and bio-char ready to use. All I had to do was scrape it out of the fire pit. Then lo and behold the husband added pressure treated wood to the fire on night when my back was turned. I was so disappointed! So I threw out all that gorgeous, long-awaited black sooty goodness. Can I ever use my fire pit again for making bio-char for my garden? I mean if I scrape it out and remove most of what is there?
I definitely need some clumping bamboo, if nothing else than for a windbreak. Growing up, I remember some neighbors had bamboo growing along the road for privacy. We would pick up older, dried, dead canes up and make flutes out of them.
