It poured all night last night, finally giving the ground and the gardens the good soaking they needed.

I plan to plant some corn this evening and bring my camera along. It’s been a long dry season with not nearly enough water for the crops.

In related news, I may have a solution for our soon-to-be repossessed garden lot. A friend is working on getting us a piece to use long term. It’s decent soil with a gentle slope, plus there’s water on site.
