This is a cool experiment:

I have mulched with half-finished compost, seaweed and even kitchen scraps.
Though I often use anaerobic compost teas, this looks like a quick way to get a struggling garden back on track.

What a coincidence,I am planning to make a mix like that but I will be using weeds not manure. I will attempt to make a 55 gallon drum of Lacto first. You can find the video made in Thailand on U-tube, or through lacto-life.com.
Then I will add the seed mixture, whatever I have on hand. I have some Mexican sunflowers, some velvet bean plants that have overrun my forest, and some Surinam purslane and Okinawa spinach that I have a ton of. Throw in a shovel of nice compost and some kitchen scraps and in a week or so we should have some nice liquid fertilizer. I noticed in the video he did not use any salt, so I think I will leave that out too. I may also just go ahead and toss in everything to make the compost and not brew the Facto first. Decisions Decisions.
