I was recently interviewed by Jason Carrier on the Live Free & Grow Podcast, an offshoot from the Remso Republic show.
A good time. It’s notably political, which makes sense considering it’s a libertarian broadcast.
I used to be a libertarian myself and still have a lot in common with the host.
My politics have evolved as I’ve matured and paid attention to the world situation, though, so now I’m less in line with Rand and Rothbard and more in line with this gentleman:
Enjoy the show – it turned out very well. A lot of focus on survival gardening and what it takes to succeed.

When I live in South Florida I had a wonderful garden. I now live in North Florida and I have not been able to successfully grow anything. I am on the downhill run from 8 septic systems and I think that’s the reason. What can I do? I have tried containers; just so-so results. Help!
Usually septic systems grow better crops than the surrounding area.
Are you in an area dominated by pines, perchance?
Thanks for sharing, it was a really good “no pun intended” time. I learned allot form your books, and videos. I hope many of our listeners will as well.
Thank you, Jason. Any time.
Not to get too political, but who is that guy? What does he grow? I am probably missing a joke. My garden complains about that, too. It says I am not big on the hoe, hoe, hoe.
Augusto Pinochet. He grew a 100% communist-free nation.
Just don’t go on a helicopter ride with him.
