I haven’t been able to get much done in the garden or on YouTube. It’s been ten days since I came down with a wretched flu OF SOME SORT and I’m still tired and short of breath. At least the bad muscle pain and headache are gone, as are the chills. Now I’m just fatigued and finding it a bit hard to breathe. Most of the kids had it too, but they are better already. Rachel is fine, no symptoms, and the two youngest never showed any symptoms either.
Just staying at home and reading now, with occasional forays into painting and sketching and a bit of writing. My last YouTube video was on December 7th, which is too long ago. Gotta get better!
Maybe it’ll be gone in time for Christmas.
You can have greener thumbs by this weekend!

Thanks. Just feeling draaaaaaaaaaggy right now and hoping I get my energy back soon.
There is a “certain sort of virus” going around this winter that for some, suppresses taste and smell. This would be especially torturous to gardeners.
All the best to your family and hopefully what ever you have caught, it can be contained to your home.
Feeling grateful for citrus in AZ where we don’t have the psyllid yet. Watching those mandarins turn color.
It’s awful how many places have ended up with greening. Good you don’t have it there – I hope it never arrives.
I’m glad y’all are on the road to recovery. Can’t tell if you’re trying to avoid speculation or controversy. Crazy days, in a year I’ve been so over for a while.
But the days start getting longer today, and we’re getting a couple of warmer days before the next freeze.

Without testing, which isn’t reliable anyhow, hard to say. But it’s probably the CHYNA FLU!

Sounds like it. Pretty sure I had it last December, though that’s unofficial as well.
Did you happen to catch the article reporting on testing they did from samples of donated blood from last December? Positive results from 5 western states. So, assuming the testing is accurate, it’s theoretically possible china got it from us.
A little morbid, but I thought that would be rather funny.
Anyway, hope you keep improving quickly.
So long as we blame it on anything but a gov’t research lab, we’re good. And thank you. I have been really beat today.
