I’ve been working on Jack Broccoli II all morning, but I definitely needed to take the time and share a look at my ongoing house build with you. Here’s the laundry room I’m building:
The awning to the right will be covered with clear polycarbonate panels, allowing in the light. We needed a window to keep things cool above the soon-to-be-installed dryer, otherwise this room would be an oven.
I found that piece of driftwood under the awning on the beach a year or two ago and now it’s finally found a home.
The slab has been poured for the workshop and I’m headed out now to go buy the supplies I need to frame it in. I’m psyched. It’s going to look great. It’s been raining for days but it’s nice and clear now, so I’m going to work while the sun shines.
You can see the build of this laundry room and the workshop on my Unauthorized channel by joining here. I just posted Tiny House Expat Living episode 16 over there.
