On Tuesday of last week we starting building our first tiny house on our land. Instead of one expensive and complicated house, we have decided to build a few small, inexpensive houses in a little circle.

So far, the first one has its foundation and floor finished and the walls framed.

Yesterday we made all our rafters and put up the center beam, plus built scaffolding so we can work on the roof and ceiling. Today we hope to get all the rafters up and start putting the T-111 siding on the walls.
