That snake has been back almost every day, sometimes for hours a day, trying to get in and devour my chicks.
I love snakes… this one is patient. I’ve caught him and tossed him in various places multiple times… and he keeps coming back.
I almost want to just let him have a chick. Almost.

Ha-ha! Funny. The chicks look pretty unconcerned, too. When I lived in Florida, a corn snake took two of my finches I used to keep in my lanai. We finally found the hole it was coming through and blocked it up of course. No more lunches for that snake on my birds. What an interesting plant! Love the rattles.
