Hi, everyone! I’ll start posting regularly again on Monday. I’m in Ft. Lauderdale right now, and will be flying home tomorrow.
We laid Dad’s body to rest yesterday with prayers and praise to God for his life. My brother and all my sisters were together and it is really good to be here with them for a short time.
Thank you for all the wonderful comments, emails and prayers.
Back soon.

wish you and your family only the best and Gods good graces.
I am pleased that you were able to get back for the service, and that your siblings were with you. May the grace of our Father continue to give you and your family strength, peace, and joy in the knowledge that your dad is in the presence of our Lord.
Glad you made it back. My dad passed in 1984 at home in Pennsylvania while I was in Kentucky for work. You never know how much you need family until the unthinkable happens. Safe travels back to the tropics.
A wonderful light has gone out in the world and the world is a little poorer without your Dad in it. Yes, he is in a wonderful place and that does help to know, but the world will miss his light shining in the darkness. God is good, but it is still hard for us.
I really clicked over here to send you a link to an amazing book about weeds being good for the soil, when I read about your Dad. Some time later, when things settle down and common finally seems okay, check out this book (It is all there, keep following the links). http://journeytoforever.org/farm_library/weeds/WeedsToC.html He reminds me of you and your writing.
I’m sorry for your loss David.
So sorry for your loss.
Just read about your Dad, David.
So sorry for the loss to you and your Mom and family.
My Dad passed away in his early 60’s ,also. It was totally unexpected as well.
You have the assurance and hope of seeing him again. I don’t know if I will see my Dad again. Either one, for that matter.
Your call to those who need to know Jesus is right on time for those reading your articles.
