Statistical improbability aside, God is good – thank you for the prayers and kind wishes. We are blessed. What a wonderful time of year to have a baby as we also remember the birth of our Lord.

Congratulations! I don’t mind admitting that I was getting nervous waiting for her to decide when to make an entrance.
Keeping with statistics, you probably have a lot in common with those other 1150 families. Actually it’s pretty neat that you can find that number in the first place. I have heard of a number of quiverful homeschool families who do gardens and animals. But they don’t write personable gardening books or biscuit songs, sadly.
My brother once said, “Dave, you’re one in a million. That means there’s a thousand people just like you in China!”

Oh my, finally the baby pics! I know I am way late on this but congratulations to you and Rachel on the birth of your daughter! That girl/boy ratio is finally starting to even out, too.
Growing up, I always wanted a big family with a whole bunch of children. It didn’t work out quite that way for me (not that I’m complaining, I’ve got 3 awesome kids and can probably squeeze out a couple more before my husband puts his foot down), but I always enjoy seeing and hearing about people with big families so I can live vicariously a little. Keep on keeping that American dream alive!
