We spent the last week putting together a presentation for the Home Grown Food Summit 2018 on how to establish spring gardens from scratch.
I just came in from finishing the last bit of it and I think you guys will enjoy it. I’ll let you know when the video goes up.
We dug three beds for the presentation and planted them with various transplants. I’ve got Tabasco peppers I’m trying for the first time and I’m psyched about that. I love making homemade hot sauce and these should be really good.
Also, once I transplanted, I made sure to sing to all the plants.
This is a very important step. Miss this and the entire future of your garden will be in doubt.
More coming soon.

Just found your YouTube channel. I like your take. One Central Floridan to another very entertaining. I’m going to get your book on Florida growing. I failed before but willing to try again.
Thank you, Jeff. You can totally conquer Florida gardening. It’s just different than the rest of the world. My book will help, but feel free to ask questions any time.
I love your channel. I’m in Punta Gorda, 7-8 months & Maine the remainder of the year.
I once read about the traditional farmers of Central and South America who used to sit in their fields and sing to the corn to help it grow wonderfully with very little water or other amendments! Masaro Emoto proved that intention creates the world with his water experiments. ?Songs are energy given with loving intention?!
