My presentation Seven Ways to Feed Your Garden for FREE airs today only at The Home Grown Food Summit 2017.
Here’s the trailer:
I think you’ll enjoy the entire thing – it was fun to write and produce a longer film.
I’ll be answering questions in the comments section beneath the film as it runs during the day. Always nice to interact with a wider audience.

THANK you! My daughter was very to garden, but she grew up and left . With health issues, I’m not great. Anyway, thank you for everything you showed me on the video!
Thank you, Carie. I pray you have the strength to get some gardening done. Much appreciated.
Hi, David! (Great name; my Beloved Husband is a David, too, LOLOL) I loved the video! You are always informative and entertaining, and your videos are also very well done. I originally “found” you when you were doing the daily vlog challenge from Justin Rhodes, and have been enjoying you and your lovely wife ever since (and congrats on the new baby bump! Praying for a healthy, happy mommy and baby!)
I really liked the idea of the weed tea; I HATE MY WEEDS – but I always feel guilty about just tossing them aside. Now I can get my revenge on them and make them useful at the same time!;-)
Two questions: is this tea also effective for killing weed seeds? And how often do you dump the “remains” on the compost pile? (I was thinking that, for a barrel of the stuff, I’d start it in the spring, keep adding and using it through the growing season, and then dump it late fall into the compost pile?
(part of this is a repost from the video’s comments; I just didn’t want it to get “lost” *grinz*)
Thanks for all your info, and I’m going to go re-read my copy of “Compost Everything”!
Oh, and I should say that I’m in south central Virginia, zone 7….
… and it was awesome! Packed with great information, funny and entertaining, and very good production quality. I’d love to see more of that kind of format. Thank you so much David! I’m glad I was able to catch it while it was live and free :)
When I heard you left North Fl, I was disappointed because I just moved just North of Ocala and since I have 3 acres I tried to plant some of the plants in your food forest and most did well. I thought I wouldn’t learn anything after you moved to central America but I was wrong. I have learned a lot. I have an orchard just South of Anthony and your videos have inspired me. Thank you! Just a suggestion: I’m sure I’m not the only person that would love to see your kids on camera. I bet they are cute!
Thank you, Janis – you are very welcome.
I know people would love seeing the whole family; however, I’d rather keep their lives free from the mass public. Childhood stars often grow up to difficult adult lives.
