I am thankful for my eight healthy and happy children, my beautiful wife, a safe place to call home and my many friends, family and readers. I’m also thankful for the warm climate, our impending land purchase, good landlords, nice beaches, regular work and good health.
The gardens are growing, the hummingbirds flit among the flowers and the ocean sparkles beneath beautiful sunsets. Though there are many I miss at this time of year – especially my grandparents, who hosted many wonderful Thanksgiving dinners – I know that we will all meet again on the other side.
May God bless you and yours as we give thanks for His mercy and provision in the Year of Our Lord 2018.

I am thankful for many things, but also would like to thank you for all the years you have spent taking time to upload so much valuable information about gardening in tropical areas. Eight years ago I moved to the tropics in Mexico on the Pacific side from northern California. The bugs and humidity wiped out all my 40 years of organic gardening success ! I was finding some info from Australia, but after I found you in Florida, I began planting more of a food forest. Success! I’m enjoying some sweet potatoes I dug this morning, salad of weird greens and homemade goat cheese. The guajalote is spared until January when friends arrive to visit. ( better air- fare). Thank you again for your get out there and plant example. Enjoy time with your beautiful family!
That is wonderful, Sheri – thank you.
