Rachel and I met as children. I was 10 and she was 8.
My brother, her brother and Rachel and I played together all one summer… and then we didn’t really see each other for years.
We met again when I was 20 and she was 18.
From the moment I laid eyes on her again… her smile, her sparking eyes, her quick laughter… I wanted to marry her.
Seriously – first glance.
She thought I was amazing too, so it was a good match.
“Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.”
I love you, darling.
Thanks for sharing this madcap adventure with me.

A match made in heaven, no doubt. The Bible verse is so true.
Happy birthday, Rachel!
Happy Birthday Rachel.
We miss you and the family here in Florida but watching the videos I think you made the right move.
Thank you both.
And thank you for the crash-course in metal detecting before I left.
I love this and we love you both
Happy birthday Rachel, and what a lovely story for David to share. :)
