I put together another video answering some of the gardening questions I’ve been asked recently:
I also contributed another article, this one on cob, to Marjory Wildcraft’s site – check that out here. Sign up for The Grow Network newsletter on the link below my article if you’re interested. There’s always a lot of good content over there and I appreciate being on their list.
In related news, I’m going to be answering some questions on The Modern Homesteading Podcast before too long – I’ll put up a link to that when it’s up; however, go check out their main site here: http://smalltownhomestead.com. Lots of good gardening and homesteading articles and audio to enjoy.
Currently reading (and enjoying):
VERY good book. I’m going to build an earth oven. This book is a work of love, with lots of illustrations, stories, plans and great ideas to build an earth oven for little to no money – and back bread better than a conventional oven. I’ll post a review soon, but it’s now a “BUY FOR THE HOMESTEADING LIBRARY!” on my list. And I’ve bought it.
Get a copy here and I make a small pittance from Amazon.
Have a great Wednesday.

Hello David, I am trying to grow some GMO free Turmeric and trying to find out how to grow GMO free healthy foods. So any input from you would be appreciated. I love the idea of being fed from my garden from food that I have grown.
Thank you
My book “Totally Crazy Easy Florida Gardening” will get you started – and I keep the price low on purpose: http://amzn.to/1MpJy1I
I want everyone growing their own.
Also, stick around and check out my previous posts. You can search by topic in the search bar and if I don’t have answers to your questions, let me know and I’ll help however I can.
As for turmeric, I’ll answer that question in an upcoming video and give you lots of details.
