A cucumber is like a melon,
Like a misdemeanor to a felon –
Similar, but it isn’t quite so large.
When cucurbits are prepared,
One must always beware –
To ascertain the nature of your charge.
For a melon should be sweet,
And cukes go well with meat –
But both of these a meal will enlarge!
