On Friday I caught some sort of tropical virus… probably mosquito-borne. I’ve had a throbbing head, chills and shakes, plus shooting pains through my stomach, hence the failure to post on time today. My YouTube channel is also on hiatus at the moment. I’ll be back soon.

Dengue fever, no doubt.
That’s not uncommon here, but if it’s dengue it’s a light case… that will really mess you up.
That was actually a joke about how quick the locals are with their diagnoses. We’re here in Central America at the in-laws. One of the kids came down with a sore throat and a fever and my mother in law immediately pronounced “Dengue fever”.
She’s a wonderful woman, but it’s probably not Dengue fever.
