Today I discovered some lacewing eggs growing on a leaf in my garden:
Mate and lay lots of eggs, my friends. The pattern below is a spiral of lacewing eggs I discovered on a ginger leaf.
A good sign for the health of your garden is the presence of predatory species.

Thanks – I thought that was pretty cool.
Last night, my daughter and I dug up the entire plant and harvested the roots. From the roughly 2 oz root we planted, we got about 3lbs of ginger. Not bad!
