I was invited to be a presenter at The Mother Earth News Online Summit this month – my presentation is titled Better Gardening Through Experimentation and features me and my amazing cast-clad hand.
It’s funny and I share a lot of ideas, including some things I haven’t put on the YouTube channel or on my blog.
Go sign up now through this link and you’ll be able to watch a TON of great homesteading presentations for free.
Justin Rhodes, Marjory Wildcraft, Geoff Lawton… it’ll rock.

My Loquat is covered with blooms this years I live in the Florida Keys. Seems that the blooms don’t fully open and wither and shrivel up? Do I need to fertilize with anything special? I use a fruit tree fertilizer. Thanks
Loquats are very undemanding. The blooms don’t really open wide like you would expect. They also self-pollinate. You ought to be fine – just watch. I’ll bet some fluffy little fruit appear soon. The blooming-to-fruit on loquats looks strange and it’s hard to figure out what’s going on until later when the fruit become obvious.
