Two days ago I posted a video from the Grocery Row Gardens, in which I greatly reduce the size of some of our fruit trees:
It’s not ideal to let the trees get this big before cutting, but time got away from us last year and so did the trees.
Particularly the seedling nectarine, which reached something like 25′ in height. I could just let it keep growing, but it’s too big for the space so I attacked it with the reciprocating saw and took it down to chest height.
Let’s hope it recovers!
