I would have posted this sooner but I didn’t have a scanner.
This is from Mother Earth News’s July/August issue… quite an honor.

I saw that in the magazine. It's quite an honor. Something to tell the grandkids about. Congratulations!
ME: "Hey, David IV. When I was YOUR age, I'd already had my picture printed in Mother Earth News magazine!"
GRANDKID: "What's a magazine?"
David,
Funny, but probably true. Either the internet will dominate and wipe out most printed publications, or the industrial system will collapse so far that the presses won't work, and no one will care because they'll be so busy trying to grow food.
I saw this too – very cool! As much as I love the internet etc, there's nothing better than a "real" magazine and a "real" hardcover book. And Mother Earth News magazine is one of my favorites – thanks to you (and your blog for turning me onto it).
I agree. I bought a Nook… read ebooks on it for a while… then quit. It sits on a shelf collecting dust.
i agree that it's much more fun to pretend you're in the jungle as well. besides, yards in florida shouldn't look like the pages of better homes and gardens. plants just don't like that kind of treatment!
Darn right!
I saw this when it first came out! How cool are you?
Way, way cool.
